PERSPECTIVES I (2015)

Not every inconvenience caused by vision problems can be seen easily. This app helps people to discover and understand situation of others by taking a photo themselves using their smart devices. Our goal is to create social changes combining the magic of technology with empathy. People care when they know, that is how empathy works.

THE SCREENS ARE THE NEW DRUG

With the dramatic increase in smart device and computer use, eye related problems become more and more common nowadays. Many people start to have computer vision syndrome(CVS) at their younger age due to overuse of the screens.

EMPATHY

Empathy involves understanding the emotional states and bodily feelings of other people. With the convenience of technology, i.e., taking photos with your smart device, this app stimulates empathy to others by increasing the understanding of vision syndromes.

IN YOUR SHOT

Since not every inconvenience caused by vision problems can be seen easily, this app helps people to discover and understand situation of others by taking a photo themselves using their smart devices.

PEOPLE CARE WHEN THEY KNOW

By integrating the SNS and launching campaigns, this project not only raises awareness about eye health, also caring for other people and having a desire to help them.

OTHERS' PERSPECTIVES

Eyes are the window to the world. By taking on the perspectives and viewpoints of others allows individuals to better empathise with others who has vision problems.

PART OF A PLAN

The app is one part of a plan. More topics are coming up, including social phenomenons, futuristic illness, environmental issues, animal welfare, etc. We would like to provoke thinking and create social change by art, design, and technology.
